Vintage Hudson Seal fur coat, circa 1920-30. Black fur resembling seal, is actually a sheared and dyed muskrat fur, made into a “fur fabric”. Double breasted closure with two braided cording buttons and matched self belt. Fully lined. For the age of the coat, it is in great condition. The lining is free of rips or tears., and my guess is that it has been replaced at some point. There is a hole in one of the side pocket linings. Hem slightly loose. A glamorous piece of Prohibition era history!
